Background

Integrity Consulting is recruiting 15 survey enumerators for a large-scale wellbeing survey commissioned by an international research institute, focusing on understanding and measuring wellbeing among urban refugee and displacement-affected communities.

The project involves administering 1,500 face-to-face surveys across seven districts of Istanbul (Fatih, Bağcılar, Esenler, Sultanbeyli, Esenyurt, Aksaray, and Zeytinburnu) targeting Syrian, Afghan, Iraqi, Iranian, and Turkish respondents. Surveys will be conducted using KoboToolbox on dedicated tablets provided by Integrity Consulting.

Positions Available

A total of 15 enumerators will be hired across four language groups: Arabic, Farsi/Dari, Pashto, and Turkish bilingual. Turkish bilingual enumerators must be native Turkish speakers with proven fluency in Arabic or Farsi, enabling them to serve both the Turkish host community and support Arabic/Farsi-speaking populations.

Scope of Work

  • Conduct face-to-face survey interviews (approximately 5–6 per day) using KoboCollect on tablets, primarily through household visits.
  • Administer the wellbeing survey questionnaire in the assigned language (Arabic, Farsi/Dari, Pashto, or Turkish), ensuring accurate and complete data entry.
  • Obtain informed consent from each respondent prior to interview, following established ethical protocols.
  • Generate referrals from surveyed respondents (up to 5 eligible contacts per interview) and support chain-referral recruitment.
  • Contribute to initial seed identification by providing up to 20 candidates from personal and community networks during the inception phase.
  • Maintain accurate referral tracking logs and report daily to the assigned field supervisor.
  • Participate in daily end-of-day check-in meetings with supervisors.
  • Adhere to safeguarding protocols, data protection standards, and ethical guidelines at all times.
  • Participate in 5-day enumerator training (3 days classroom + 2 days field piloting) at a designated training venue in Istanbul.

Education

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or be currently enrolled as a bachelor’s student (minimum 3rd year) in one of the following fields:

Language Skills

  • Native or fluent proficiency in the language group being applied for (Arabic, Farsi/Dari, Pashto, or Turkish).
  • Working knowledge of Turkish is required for all non-Turkish-speaking enumerators.
  • Turkish bilingual enumerators must demonstrate proven fluency in Arabic or Farsi in addition to native Turkish.

Experience & Skills

  • Prior experience in survey data collection, case management, social assistance, or community-based fieldwork is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with KoboToolbox or similar digital data collection tools is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse respondent groups.
  • Commitment to ethical research standards, data confidentiality, and respondent safeguarding.
  • Availability for the full duration of the assignment (training + data collection: 15 June – 17 July 2026).

Compensation

Enumerators will receive a competitive daily rate for each working day. In addition, daily food per diem and transport allowance will be provided. All enumerators will be equipped with a dedicated tablet and SIM/mobile data stipend for the duration of the fieldwork.

Background

Integrity Consulting is seeking qualified consultants for a feasibility study in Syria, commissioned by our client, an international humanitarian and development organisation. The client has been working in humanitarian assistance and development cooperation for over three decades, supporting vulnerable communities across multiple regions.

The study will inform a proposed project aimed at supporting the sustainable rebuilding of post-conflict Aleppo city through a multi-sector, evidence-informed, and coordinated approach targeting vulnerable groups — particularly women, youth, displaced people, and returnees.

Purpose

The feasibility study will provide the client with a solid foundation for developing a complete project proposal in accordance with OECD/DAC evaluation criteria (relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, sustainability). The study will critically review the planned intervention across three interlinked components:

  • Livelihoods & Economic Recovery: Climate-resilient skills, women-led cooperatives, vocational training, small business grants.
  • SEL & MHPSS in Education: School rehabilitation, Social-Emotional Learning, Mental Health & Psychosocial Support, teacher capacity building.
  • Social Cohesion & Peacebuilding: Women-led peace groups, youth-led recovery initiatives, inter-community reconciliation.

Scope of Work

  • Review of existing policies, government strategies, and relevant studies.
  • Assessment of implementing partner’s institutional, technical, and financial capacities.
  • Stakeholder consultations and target group analysis.
  • Field mission to Aleppo for primary data collection (5 days).
  • Critical review of project design against OECD/DAC criteria.
  • Development of LogFrame with SMART indicators, risk analysis, and Do-no-harm assessment.

Team Structure & Positions

The feasibility study will be conducted by a team of consultants with complementary expertise:

  • Team Leader / Senior Feasibility Study Expert (12 days): Overall study design, methodology, quality assurance, stakeholder engagement, report writing.
  • Livelihoods & Economic Recovery Specialist (8 days): Component 1 assessment, labour market analysis, vocational training needs.

Key Requirements

Background

Integrity Consulting is seeking an experienced consultant/team to support the development of a programme intervention strategy using systems approaches for host and displaced Sudanese populations in remote and camp contexts across Sudan and Ethiopia.

The H.E.R. (Host & Displaced Sudanese Populations) programme is a two-year initiative focusing on long-term strengthening, integration, and resilience outcomes for female populations in Benishangul, Ethiopia and Gedaref, Sudan. The programme takes a holistic approach across multiple sectors including health, protection (particularly women’s health, GBV survivor support, documentation, and land rights), nutrition, economic recovery, and peacebuilding.

Purpose

The consultant will provide additional capacity and technical expertise during the programme setup phase to:

  • Conduct field research support and systems analysis across healthcare, agriculture, and protection systems.
  • Facilitate intervention analysis and design through collaborative workshops.
  • Develop intervention implementation strategies with local actor engagement plans.
  • Establish MEL/MRM systems and baselines for measuring systems change.

Team Structure & Positions

The consultancy will be conducted by a team with complementary expertise:

  • Team Leader / Lead Systems Specialist (20 days): Overall consultancy design, methodology, quality assurance, stakeholder coordination, workshop facilitation, report writing.
  • Senior Protection/GBV Specialist (10 days): Protection systems analysis, GBV/GESI integration, safeguarding considerations, contributing to intervention design.
  • MEL/MRM Specialist (7 days): Results chain development, indicator frameworks, baseline design, adaptive management systems.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in market/systems approaches (MSD, M4P, ISA) in humanitarian/development programming (for Team Leader).
  • Demonstrated experience leading systems analysis in complex/fragile environments.
  • Proven experience in Protection, Gender and/or GBV programming.
  • Strong facilitation and capacity development skills.
  • Multi-sector expertise across health, protection, nutrition, economic recovery, and peacebuilding.

About the Assessment

A Multi-Sectoral Humanitarian Needs Assessment (MSNA) will be conducted across selected counties in South Sudan to better understand humanitarian priorities and access vulnerabilities of communities affected by conflict, displacement, and climate-related shocks. The assessment will collect quantitative and qualitative data across humanitarian sectors such as food security, livelihoods, protection (including GBV and child protection), WASH, shelter, education, health, and nutrition.

The findings will help our clients design more responsive and inclusive programmes, ensuring that resources are channelled in a way that truly meets the needs of internally displaced persons, returnees, refugees, and host community members. To support this effort, experienced and motivated Local Research Assistants / Enumerators will be engaged for field-based data collection for the technical assessment.

Key Responsibilities

Local Research Assistants / Enumerators will play a central role in gathering reliable and accurate information through direct engagement with affected communities. They will be responsible for:

  • Conducting household surveys, key informant interviews, and focus group discussions with internally displaced persons, returnees, and host community members.
  • Ensuring that data collection is accurate, consistent, and carried out using mobile-based tools such as KoboToolbox.
  • Facilitating discussions that enable equal participation of women, men, youth, and persons with disabilities, and promoting gender-sensitive approaches throughout the process.
  • Taking detailed notes, documenting findings accurately, and submitting daily updates on progress and challenges.
  • Providing translation and interpretation between English and local languages when required.
  • Upholding the highest ethical standards, including informed consent, confidentiality, and respect for the dignity and safety of all participants.
  • Participating in pre-deployment training on data collection tools, research ethics, and security protocols.
  • Providing contextual insights to the assessment team on local dynamics, access challenges, and community sensitivities.
  • Supporting data entry, verification, and quality control as requested by the field coordinator or team lead.

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates should demonstrate strong motivation, reliability, and a commitment to humanitarian values. Essential qualifications include:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in data collection for humanitarian, development, or research projects.
  • Proven ability to conduct household surveys, key informant interviews, and/or focus group discussions in South Sudan.
  • Fluency in English and at least one major local language such as Dinka, Nuer, Shilluk, Bari, or Arabic Juba.
  • Strong understanding of local cultural, social, and conflict dynamics in at least one of the target counties (Baliet, Panyikang, Pibor, Nasir, Ulang, Fangak, Pigi).
  • Ability to use mobile devices and data collection applications (experience with KoboToolbox or similar tools is an advantage).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated sensitivity to issues of gender, protection, and inclusion.
  • Commitment to ethical research practices and respect for participant confidentiality and safety.
  • Ability to work in challenging and remote environments, including areas with limited infrastructure and ongoing insecurity.

About the Project

Integrity Consulting will be carrying out various assessments focusing on peace and conflict analysis, resilience analysis, gender sensitivity assessment, protection, and rule of law in West Bank, Palestine. The assessments will focus on rural communities in Area C and refugee camps across Nablus, Hebron, Bethlehem, Tubas, and Jordan Valley regions. To support primary data collection for these assessments and studies, Integrity Consulting is seeking 10 experienced and motivated local research assistants covering 5 governorates. The research team will be composed of individuals with diverse expertise and balanced gender representation to ensure comprehensive data collection across all target communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) and facilitate Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) in communities across Nablus, Hebron, Bethlehem, Tubas, and Jordan Valley.
  • Document discussions accurately through note-taking and audio recording (when appropriate).
  • Assist in organising and facilitating community validation workshops in selected locations.
  • Provide contextual insights and support translation during field activities.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical research principles, including informed consent and confidentiality.
